I'm feeling all dramatical as I embark on this knitting adventure of long lost legends of King Arthur. What trials await me as I start this journey into the unknown as the Sword in the stone is revealed to me as I design the Excalibur Tea Cosy?
It's nearly haggis season, and with it comes the celebration of Burns Night. At the heart of Burns Night is the iconic dish known as haggis. A cute wee Highland creature that is small and elusive and very tasty, especially when served with a Terry's Chocolate Orange.
Inspired by the Chinese New Year, and with 2024 being the Chinese Year of the Dragon, I thought I'd design a tea cosy with a Chinese dragon circling it. But it's the start of January and Chinese new year is the 10th of February, so I'm going to have to get my skates on.
For me, I think autumn has an air or mysticism, and a supernatural unexplained kind of magic. A time when we can connect to spirits from the other side and maybe see the future.
There are so many characters in Alice in Wonderland that I wanted to design more chocolate orange cosies, and for that I have had to make a Part 2 pattern.
