Description

The Medusa tea cosy is a wonderfully terrifying tea cosy. Poor Medusa was punished for being beautiful by the jealous goddess Athena, who turned her hair into snakes. Medusa makes a great spooky tea cosy design that is perfect for Halloween.

The main part of the tea cosy is made to look like the body of a snake, with a long, rattlesnake tail that curls around and stands at the front. The main part of the tea cosy is knitted in a stitch that give the snake skin look. It's an easy pattern when you know how, there is a link to a Youtube video included in the knitting pattern.

Medusa was a beautiful lady before the curse, so her body is slender and beautiful. She is wearing a open front top that goes from her front over her shoulder to her back.

And of course her hair is all snakes. The snakes vary in length to give the look of long hair and so they look like a rumba of snakes intertwines and slithering about.

She's an exciting tea cosy design for Halloween or for people who love snakes.

Calm your head snakes down with a nice hot cup of tea.
