Description

The Poppy Chocolate Orange Cosy is an ideal project for November, a month of remembrance. This pattern creates a wonderfully big and blousy poppy, much larger than the typical cornfield poppies. It's more in line with the size and presence of an oriental poppy, making it a striking addition to any remembrance display.

This cosy is designed to fit a Terry's Chocolate Orange and is featured in TeaCosyFolk's 2024 calendar. The pattern is straightforward and easy to follow, using only Stylecraft Special DK yarn. To help you with the loopy stitch technique that gives the central part of the flower its feathery wisps, we've included a helpful video tutorial.
