Description

Inspired by onion shaped Christmas tree baubles and the exoticness of Persia, I designed the Persian Christmas bauble chocolate orange cosy.

The Persian Christmas Bauble style, with its intricate swirl pattern and jewel like details, evokes the charm of a decorated Christmas tree combining festive with exotic.

The main cosy is knitted diagonally to create the swirls and then at the bottom you pick up and knit to create a border. The cosy is topped off with a bauble like finial.

This is a great chocolate orange cosy for grown ups with sophistication.

7g Stylecraft, Special DK Kelly Green (1826)
5g Stylecraft, Special DK Bottle (1009)
5g Stylecraft, Special DK Black (1002)
3g Stylecraft, Special DK Lobelia (1825)
2g Stylecraft, Special DK Claret (1123)
1g Stylecraft, Special DK Saffron (1081)
Stitch Marker or scarp of yarn,
Stuffing.
