Description

This is a super fun tea cosy that looks like a toadstool fairy house. The basic house is a toadstool or mushroom and into it a door and windows have been placed to create a little house for a fairy.

The fairy house tea cosy has two steps up to its front door and a little porch to shelter the returning fairy from the rain. Around the door is a climbing plant with pink flowers.

There is one front window and a dormer window in the roof that opens up like a lazy eye. Around the back is a large bay window and more flowers.

Up on the roof is a chimney that looks like its made from a smaller mushroom.

It's a lovely tea cosy to make and it's so lovely to knit something from the magical world of fairies.

Fairies don't live at the bottoms of gardens these days, they live in tea cosies!

This Tea Cosy:

  • is made from double thickness yarn for extra insulation
