About me

Hi.

My name is Hayley and run my own little webshop called My Wishful Thinking. from a tiny, idyllic village just outside Honiton in Devon. I was taught to knit by my grandma when I was very (very) young and have now been knitting for 50+ years. My fondest memories are of needles clicking and eating Hobnob biscuits along with my favourite person. I always remember her tea pot, covered in a thick brown tea cosy, that was permanently on display in the middle of her dining table. She would be absolutely amazed at the different design that are on offer these days.

I have knitted so many of Suzy's amazing tea cosy patterns and now have 27 (and still counting) designs. The most popular of these is 'Nurse' with her full bedpan. I have knitted her in so many different colour uniforms to represent the different departments (Occupational Therapists, Paediatrics etc.)

I have so many different colours of wool (hidden everywhere!!!) and so I it would not be a problem to change the colours of any of the patterns that are available. This means that there is no waiting for wool deliveries, I can begin knitting straight away. On average I can complete a tea cosy in a few days (average of 3 days).

I prefer to be paid via BACS, but will also accept PayPal payments.

All of my tea cosies are posted (2nd class) via Royal Mail and tracked. UK Postage costs are included in the price. However, if you are ordering from overseas, please contact me for a quote before ordering.
