Ice Cream Seller Tea Cosy and Knitting Pattern

The Ice Cream Seller tea cosy was designed for the Simply Knitting Magazine issue 239 which went on sale on the 15th June 2023.

Ice cream parlours are so trendy these days and during the summer months the ice cream seller is always a welcome sight. I thought an ice cream seller tea cosy would make for the perfect summer tea cosy.

I have this character dressed in a red and white striped uniform. He has a big apron on and a matching hat on his head to cover up his unruly orange hair.

In his hands he is holding an ice cream and an ice lolly as though he is offering them to you, and who would say no?

He's the perfect tea cosy for anyone who remembers the joy of the ice cream van and its musical jingle driving up the street.
