We Three Kings of Orient Are Tea Cosy and Knitting Pattern

Description

Inspired by the classic Christmas carol, I have designed a tea cosy of one of the three wise men who followed the yonder star that led them to the birthplace of Jesus. Its an amazing story in it's own right really, and a brilliant pretrial of blind faith.

The tea cosy has a man on a camel. The camel is laying down, the kind of position they get into so that people can climb on or off them.

The main cosy forms the camel's body, and the camel's legs, head and neck are then made and sewn on.

The camel has a beautiful coloured blanket on its back and on the blanket is the King bearing his gift. The Wise man is in a seated position with his feet inside his robe. In his hands he is carrying a jar of gold, frankincense or myrrh.

It's a lovely tea cosy and unusual, because you don't really hear much about the three kings that were at the Nativity.

After traveling all that way on a grumpy camel, I bet they were parched and desperate for a good cup of tea.

A wise man would always use a Christmas tea cosy during the festive season

This Tea Cosy:

• is made from double thickness yarn for extra insulation
• fits a medium sized teapot that holds 6 to 8 cups or 2 pints
