The tuba player tea cosy is a fun tea cosy of a lady playing the tuba.

This tea cosy design was modelled on a lady who wanted a tea cosy of herself playing the tuba. An unusual request and an unusual instrument to play.

Because tubas are so big with a huge bell, I did wonder if it could be self supporting, but with the head and tuba sewn together as well as the main cosy and the arms, it's all very stable.

I love the spikey hair, it really gives the tuba player a funky look.

I love the little puffed out cheeks, it really looks like she's tooting away, or is that parping? And her hands with the fingers on the valves are super cute.

She's such a fun tea cosy and something a bit out of the ordinary.
