The Nutcracker Tea Cosy Knitting Pattern

The Nutcracker tea cosy is a really Christmassy tea cosy based on the nutcracker from the story. So many people collect Nutcracker ornaments but I couldn't find a Nutcracker tea cosy; until now.

The Nutcracker is wearing a bright red military costume with contrasting yellow buttons and trim. On his head he is wearing a crown with a golden fenial and ruby gems all around.

Taking inspiration for the nutcracker from other pictures of nutcracker decorations, I tried to keep the face traditional. So he has rosy cheeks and a big toothy grin, fluffy hair and beard and a curling mustache.

He really makes for a wonderful Christmas tea cosy, full of Nutcracker cheer.
