Handbell Ringer Tea Cosy and Knitting Pattern

Description

The Handbell Ringer tea cosy was inspired by the magical sounds of people handbell ringing. I knew that music as beautiful as that would make a magical Christmas tea cosy which would also be appropriate to ring in the new year with.

I made this tea cosy feel festive with the colour scheme, but I also wanted to add holly to the bottom of the bell ringer's dress. I always think that holly looks so festive. The holly on the dress is actually knitted in to the main part of the dress so no extra sewing. There is a help video to show you how the holly is worked.

In her hands she is holding 3 bells of different sizes. The bells are worked in one piece and sewn together to create these cute little clangers.

She has a bobbly style hair-do and around her neck she is wearing a white scarf which matches her gloves.

She's a lovely tea cosy and gives this tea cosy a Christmas vibe, it could almost be Mrs Claus there ringing the bells.
