Animated Tea Cosy

Description

The Gone Fishing tea cosy is a tea cosy of a fisherman with his fishing rod, off out for the day for a spot of fishing.

Fisherman always seem to wear earthy colours, I suppose to blend in so that the fish don't see them. So my fishing bloke is wearing brown trousers and a dark green body warmer over a blue jumper. I have given him a traditional fishing hat complete with fishing fly.

He's doing well, and the fish are biting today; he has already caught one and it's in his keep net. But he is having a spot of bother with his bait, and the worms are trying to escape!

He's a lovely tea cosy to knit and fun to use every day.

The perfect tea cosy for people who love fishing and sitting by the water.

This Tea Cosy:

  • is made from double thickness yarn for extra insulation
  • has a removable hat which can be casually hung on the spout
  • fits a medium sized teapot that holds 6 to 8 cups or 2 pints
