Description

The chameleon tea cosy is a super cute tea cosy that turns your teapot into a colourful reptile.

The main part of the cosy is the chameleon's body, and the limbs, head and tail are knitted and sewn on.

Chameleons can be any colour you like, so if you don't have the colours stated in the pattern, that's alright, you can easily substitute another colour in its place. You could even change the colours to suit your décor.

I love his eyes that can be looking in two different directions and I love his feet that look as if he is wearing oven mitts.

It's a easy to knit pattern and the patternation is created by knitting in stripes. The tea cosy used Stylecraft Special DK throughout and for the main cosy the yarn is held double to make it thicker and add more insulation.

He's the perfect tea cosy for people who love lizards and reptiles, and of course, hot tea!
